Richard Graf is the President of Graf Investments and Owner of Central Washington Properties, both based in Selah, Washington. Graf Investments’ portfolio of properties has grown over the years, because of its knowledgeable and well trained staff. Graf Investments owns or manages almost 900 rental units from Selah, Yakima, Prosser, Ellensburg, Moses lake and Coulee Dam, Washington.
Richard has over 35 years of professional experience in real estate investments and property management through United Builders and Graf Investments. Richard graduated from the University of Washington in 1978 majoring in business administration with an emphasis in accounting and management. Additional core knowledge has been gained from education in appraisals and marketing and the training necessary to achieve the esteemed CPM® designation, (Certified Property Manager) from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
Central Washington Properties is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Yakima Valley Landlord’s Association, and the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Our team members include a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®). This additional intensive training enables our staff to provide quality, professional service with a high level of expertise.
Our team leader is Jacquie, who has been a Washington State-licensed broker for over 16 years. She earned the esteemed ARM® accreditation from the IREM in Washington State and is currently preparing for her CPM® accreditation.

The History of Central Washington Properties
- Look for purchase opportunities and evaluation of financial feasibility of a property
- Discuss the owner’s intentions for the property, their expectations and limitations.
- Assist in the inspection of the property and then make our recommendations for improvements needed to the property.
- Review the property records including income, expenses and resident leases to see if the property would fit the needs of the prospective purchaser.
In 1991, our services were expanded to provide professional property management services for client properties. Jacquie Matson joined the team to handle residential and management services.
